Sweet Summer Endings

To finish out my portfolio building summer promo sessions, I spent my last weekend back where I started, photographing a lovely family at Verona Park.  John, Lisa, and their little boy, Jonathan, came to the park to enjoy themselves and the weather--no props, plans or preconceived notions, just a lot of love and contentment for each other.  I photograph a lot of families.  But being able to capture these stories and relationships through photography never gets old for me.  Thank-you to all my clients for sharing a slice of your lives.  It has been an honor and pleasure to do so.

Aussies On The Move

Aussie expats, Jeremy and Leif, and their two boys, Sebastian and Jonah, are definitely a family on the go!  I had a great morning spending time with them at their lovely home, photographing everyone doing what they love best, whether it be silly-dancing to music in the crib or bouncing on the trampoline in the backyard.  It definitely was not your typical sit-nicely-in-front-of-the-camera photo shoots (it never is!) but we had a great time and a lot of great shots nonetheless.  Big props to Mum and Dad for keeping up with these two little balls of energy!  Enjoy the rest of your time here in The States!

Keeping Up With Luke

After battling a rough night of sniffles and coughs, Mom and Dad were unsure if 23 month old Luke would be up for a paparazzi session with me.  But to our delight, Luke rose to the occasion and gave me a taste of his busy day as a toddler--showing off his million dollar smile the whole time.  From rock climbing and swinging on his jungle gym to finding mushrooms and foraging acorns on (and off) the property, this little monkey definitely had this photographer on her toes!  Thanks for showing me your digs, buddy!

Theater Hams

After spending an entire summer at theater camp, a photo session with Josie (age 7 1/2) and Abby (age 6) is bound to be entertaining and fun.  It's amazing to see the range of emotion that can be acted out between two girls within 30 short minutes.  Primed only with a picnic table, their pet dog, and their thespian talent, these girls can act out scenes from Shakespeare in a matter of seconds!  Watch out Broadway! In a few years, these two theater hams will be giving you a run for your money!
